Thirty Years in Snake River Country

For over thirty years, River Dog Retrievers has trained retrievers for the challenges of waterfowling and upland hunting in the Snake River country of Eastern Idaho. Our goal has always been the same — to make you and your dog the best team possible, in the field, on the river, or at home.

Training takes place near Rexburg and Idaho Falls at various locations across Eastern Idaho. Every dog stays in a modern, climate-controlled indoor kennel. We specialize in gun dogs for upland, waterfowl, or both — as well as hunt test and young field trial dogs.

We customize every dog's program to your needs. Owners are encouraged to participate from start to finish. We love what we do. Thank you for trusting us with your dog.
